Traveling Photographer
This Montana singer/songwriter photoshoot was such a blast! Doing a travel photoshoot to Tracy’s stomping grounds was unique because she was the one who called all the shots for the locations we would shoot at, and boy, did she deliver! She had ideas of where to go (specific parks, etc.) and then I threw in my two cents for what would work well with background, etc. That kind of collaboration is always really fun for me.
We went out on a very windy, overcast day, and I absolutely love how these turned out. I remember in the moment, I was nervous that the wind would win out over us, and that I wouldn’t have anything beautiful to deliver. When I look back over this shoot though, the wind is one of my favorite aspects of it. I love the hairs in the face and the dynamics that are added from our unseen photography assistant.
