Hey there, I’m Chloe!
Here’s some quick fun facts for you: I am an encourager and a lover of people. I love hearing people’s dreams and goals, and I love to pray over those things and ask God to bless them. I speak very broken Chinese, and I am in the process of learning Korean. I love being playful, and I love cracking down at my kitchen counter editing photos. Both photoshoots and editing are so fun to me.
If I had to boil it down, my favorite thing about photography is capturing emotion — the feelings between people. The little moments that seem mundane but are everything when looking back in time.
I spent two years living overseas, and during that time, I got homesick every now and again. And, you know what I did when I felt homesick? I looked back at old pictures and watched videos to remember what used to be, to remember the sweetness of the past. And, it wasn’t the staged photos that I spent the most time gazing at — though I love those as well! I spent the most time looking at the pictures that captured the everyday. The things that used to be taken for granted, but now were gone. The ones that reminded me what life really, truly had been like.
And, that is the power of a photograph. That is what I love.

I am a Christian, and that bleeds into my business. I like to make prayer a big part of my work. I believe that every client I come in contact with, I am rubbing shoulders with for a reason. So, I aim to take that very seriously and bless my clients and encourage them as best I can with the time we have.
You don’t have to be a Christian to work with me. My beliefs and values are very dear to me, and 100% make me who I am, but we don’t have to have the same worldview to work together. If you are uncomfortable with prayer, please let me know up front, so that you feel comfortable for our photoshoot.
