Song Cover Photoshoot
This photoshoot was so much fun because it was so collaborative. Before I shoot for a song or album cover, I listen to the music and try to really catch the emotion of the lyrics and melodies. I also spend very intentional time in prayer, asking the Lord for ideas on how to design the photoshoot.
For this particular photoshoot, I was praying and listening to the song, and I got an idea that beautiful Kristen would be in a red gown that was torn up and dirty, and I wanted some shots of her running and looking over her shoulder — capturing some movement.
Before I shared this idea with Kristen, she came to me saying she wanted a blurry photo of her running. As we went back and forth, we found we had nearly the EXACT SAME vision for what the shoot would look like, the only difference being Kristen wanted the dress white instead of red. PERFECT. So we made it happen!
